Design-Partner Evaluation
Since version v0.69.0
The Design-Partner Preview is a free, guided, 30-day technical evaluation for
Spedo's documented single-node scope. It is a discovery program, not a
subscription, an enterprise contract, or a production certification.
Suitable evaluations
- Hot, rebuildable cache or derived KV/JSON state with a separate source of truth.
- A bounded single-node Docker or Kubernetes deployment.
- A redacted reproducible workload with explicit recovery and success checks.
Out of scope
- Primary or irreplaceable data, regulated/personal data, HA, quorum replication, Redis Cluster replacement, an SLA, or a compatibility guarantee.
- Sending secrets, production payloads, or customer data to Spedo.
Evaluation flow
1. Request: Submit the public fit form directly on the site. The bounded form fields are stored in the private portal database and are visible only to Master Admin; no account is created.
Production configuration: the public portal stays fail-closed until its
narrowly scoped collector and persistent private portal database are
explicitly configured. The collector accepts no files, credentials, or
arbitrary data.
2. Agree the boundary: Use the request details to define the data boundary, expected commands, memory limit, failure test, and success criteria. A short fit call is used only when the scope needs clarification.
3. Evaluate: Run the Docker or Kubernetes evaluation for no more than 30 days.
4. Review: Complete the six-minute feedback form on the public page: five short evaluation questions, two free-text prompts, and an optional follow-up email. It is visible to Master Admin without an email round-trip. A short review call is optional, never required. The team may stop the evaluation immediately if the workload exceeds the public scope.
